Other Modes for Obtaining Business Visa: E-Business Visa
Nationals travelling to India for short-term business activities - such as attending meetings, trade discussions or exploring partnerships may consider applying for an e-business visa. It is an ideal option to avoid physical document submissions and embassy visits as the e-Business Visa is processed fully online.
- Duration of Visa: One year from grant of e-visa
- Entries: Multiple
- Permitted stay in India: Continuous stay per visit must not exceed 180 days and if the intended stay is more than 180 days during the visa validity, registration with the FRRO is mandatory.
📝 How to Apply
- Apply online at the Indian e-Visa Portal
- Upload supporting documents during the online process
- Pay visa fee online at the time of submission
- Receive Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) via email upon approval
📌 Important Points:
- Application must be submitted at least 4 days before the intended travel date.
- Always check the endorsement on the ETA for the duration of stay permitted in India, as the requirement varies on case-to-case basis.
