Important Notes:
- The salary threshold of USD 25,000 is not applicable to ethnic cooks, language teachers (except English teachers), or diplomatic staff.
- The request letter from the Indian employer plays a key role in the Employment Visa application process. A clearly articulated letter that demonstrates the applicant's role, the nature of assignment and the need for the foreign national's expertise, when submitted with complete supporting documents can significantly contribute to smooth and timely visa processing.
- Non-Canadian nationals applying from Canada must have resided in Canada for at least 2 years and must provide valid proof of residency.
